FITZTOWN - Golden Retriever Floral

Hello Fitztown!
I'm here to share my last post with everyone.
It's the Fitztown Golden Retriever Floral image.
I wanted to make a tag so that I can later add it onto a scrapbook layout.  The tag is in memory of one of my beloved pet dog, who was a goldern retriever.  Her name was Sydney, named after one of my favorite actors, Sydney Portier starred in the movie,
 "To Sir, With Love".
She also responded to "Loofa" don't ask, it was hubby's nickname for her.
She was a smart one, as most retrievers are, she was also epileptic.  I took great care of her.  She was special, all my dogs were special in their own way.
Miss my girl...

Here I began with a tag that I inked up using Distress Inks, Salty Ocean, Peeled Paint and I believe it was Barn Door.
I used the TH flick and spritz, may be the other way around.
used my heating tool to dry it quicker.
Added some pink butterflies that I took apart from a garland.
The Copic Pens I used are:
E000, E00, E02, E04, E11, E13, E18, E33, E43, E50, V000, Y2, Y15, Y38, YG13, YG25, YG67, G88, B000, BO2, B05, B06, V11, FRV1

Added some white feathers to appear as white wings but I don't think they look like wings, but the idea is there when you first look at it... I hope.  ;  )  A white doggie bone and my tag is completed.
Thank you to the entire team for allowing me to play along with you all.
Thank you Ema!
Thank you Paul & Morgan!

Barb's Saturday Post - Say Cheese!

Hi Everybody!

With Valentine's Day quickly approaching, I found myself needing some fun, but quick-to-make cards for friends.

This time around I found inspiration in Fitztown's Cutie 8 image.

Anyone who's been my friend for more than five minutes, knows that my love of cheese is a fairly deep and enduring love. So, saying that I love them more than cheese is really saying a lot about how much I value their friendship! Just don't ask if I love you more than coffee... you'll only be facing disappointment. I have limits, y'know?

For this card, I simply added the sentiment before I printed out the image. Then I colored in everything with a combination of color pencils and pastels. I also gave it a little "bling" by doing the dots on the bow and the necklace with Liquid Pearls. To make the eyes look watery, I added a drop of clear glue.

For that small, extra touch, I used my heart punch before I adhered the completed image to my red cardstock.

For other craft tips and projects that I've done, please stop by my blog, In the Studio with Barb.

Thanks and happy crafting!

TRACI
Hi, I'm Traci.
I have been crafting for many years where I enjoyed cross stitching and knitting. However, I was only introduced to card making 3 years ago and was instantly drawn in. This is definitely my addiction. I adore colouring to the point of obsession! The cards I make I donate to various animal charities. My aim for the future is to be part of a design team.
