It's Lynn here with the latest challenge at Fitztown.  It's everyone's favourite kind of challenge!  Anything goes is the theme, so there's no excuse not to play along.

But before we get to the challenge, we've changed the format for the blog a bit. Ema made the official announcement yesterday and you can read all about it here. 
So for now,  it's time to announce the winner of Challenge #59 - Distress hosted by Team B a couple of weeks ago.
Since we didn't have more than 10 entries, I get to choose a winner; 

otherwise, we use Random.org.

Official Announcements

Hi Blogland! Ema here with a few announcements. 

First, most importantly, we have gone from a bi-weekly challenge to a weekly challenge format. We did this three weeks ago and I've been derelict in my duties as a Creative Team Coordinator because I've got LOTS of stuff going on in my personal life. Can you believe it? Who'd have heard of such a thing!?! lol

So with the weekly challenge format, we will begin announcing the winners to the challenges on Mondays when the new challenge is announced. I've gone to great lengths to make this as confusing as possible, so listen up carefully. ;)

We've three Teams with a Team Leader. Each Team will host a different week. The easy part is that they are Team A, Team B and Team C. haha Tomorrow's challenge is hosted by Team B. Team Leader will announce the winner for Challenge No. 59 - Distress because Team B hosted this particular weekly challenge. Next Monday, Team A will announce the winners to Challenge No. 60 - Romance and Love and so forth. Right now, the teams are not in alphabetical order and the reasoning for that is complex so kinda just watch what Team you play along with... or better yet... play along every week and then come back on Mondays to find out if you won! Haha! :) Easy peasy, right? lol 

We have GREAT plans for 2015! We will be finishing up with 2014 with the challenge on December 15th. It will be the last challenge for this year. I feel my hard-working Team and I need a well-deserved break! We will be back on January 5th with a vengeance! lol So be sure to keep watch for exciting changes in the new year! The Team and I are on pins and needles awaiting the changes!

We've lost Team members and added Team members and I've not been able to keep up with making the appropriate announcements so I'm gonna lay them all down for you here as I announce the Teams.

Barb's Saturday Post: Altered Frame with Eagle

Hello and Happy Saturday! Barb here with my weekend post.

Monday is Veteran's Day here in the USA. It's a day we have set aside to honor the men and women who have served in our military. That's why I decided to go rather patriotic for this project.

The Bald Eagle is the national bird of the USA and symbolizes the freedoms we are privileged to enjoy. So, when I saw this digistamp from Fitztown, I knew I'd be going in a patriotic direction with it.

I used an inexpensive, unfinished wooden frame and an old pair of worn out jeans to get this project going. Add a couple different star stamps into the mix and I was off and running with it!

I love everything about crafting which also includes knitting, crocheting, sewing, writing and photography. I have been collecting supplies for a long time and if you were to ask my daughters the would say I have enough stuff to open my own shop. When I am creating it takes me to a place that is magical and relaxing. It is Lynn with Team B for another wonderful challenge of Fitztown. This week our challenge is stressful on your creation. This could be as simple as distressing the edges of the paper or distress ink on your creation.

Ema here with a few announcements! First, I want each of you to thank us every week! We are so grateful for your time and we love to see your creations!
Then I should tell you, I would not worked. Fitztown was my work! Actually, it was a labor of love! lol I have all my heart and soul go into getting this blog set for Fitztown.
But now ... I got a job! A full-time paid job! Can you believe it? I am still shocked by the whole thing. lol With a full time job come some sacrifices. I can not give this beloved blog of my full attention! Ha! I think of it even than mine! How sad! lol
Anyway, I have my teammates asked for some assistance ... and they have graciously accepted ... so there will be changes made. Many of them! Our first change is the challenge this week. We two weeks will weekly challenges. There are also some changes in how we announce our winners so please read about it below. Judy's Inspirational Card for Vellum Challenge

Hi, Judy here with my inspirational card for the vellum challenge.  It has been awhile since I have used vellum on a card. I love how velum give a card such a soft look. 

I used this pretty image called Mystical Fae 2 from Morgan Fitzsimon's collection at Fitztown, you can find the image here. 

I die cut the vellum background with my new stitch die and made the velum flower with a couple of flower punches that I added rubbed some Inka Gold on give some interest.
