Hello once again!  Happy to share this piece that I've created for Fitztown.  I am having a fun time with this collection.  Thanks Fitztown!

This is Fae 38.

 I began by printing the image on Copic X-Pess It Blending Card.  It's ultra smooth and silky, the Copic pens work great on them. 

It seems I always begin with the skin colors, then the hair. 

 

After I was done with the inking, I used my Distress Ink, Black Soot around the image.

Guest Design Day with Lynn - Anything Goes with a Mustang

Well can you believe we are almost at the end of April?  

I know I can't and spring has finally started to appear here in Southern Ontario...thank goodness.

This week the theme is everyone's favourite - ANYTHING GOES!

So there's no excuse not to play along!

My card today features a wonderful image that makes me think of spring and summer.  

The image is called CAR3 and can be found here

This bright and cheery card was fun to colour and easy to assemble. 

I used traditional  Mustang BOSS 302 colours and simply matted it in black 

and mounted it out on some embossed cardstock and added my stamped sentiment.  

I created several at the same time in different colour schemes and made a few birthday cards too 

(which I forgot to photograph - silly me)

Those of you who know me, know that I am a big Mustang fan and we own one.  

I wanted to share a photo taken for the 50th Birthday of Mustang (April 17, 2014)

We were one of 25 cars chosen to take part in the photo shoot at Ontario Place a few days prior to the Mustang's actual Birthday.  

Our car is a 1986 Mustang GT Convertible and if you look closely at the photo, you can see us beside our car at about the 3:00 o'clock mark looking at the ZERO like a clock-face!

We were sooo excited and thrilled to be a part of this once in a lifetime event and this photo has been in newspapers across the country !! How exciting is that?  

Okay...so back to the challenge at hand...

I sure hope you'll create and share just about ANYTHING you create with us this week as it's the easiest and best kind of challenge !!  

I can't wait to see your creations !!

Hi, It´s thursday and my turn to share a card! The theme this week is Anything goes!!

I have use Cameo 5 to work with today and color her with Faber Castell.

I color a die cut in a similar color and place her on it.

It´s really spring out so I was give the card soft color because it fits fine now.

My embellishment are flowers, lace, ribbon, organza and pearls.

DT Judy, Anything Goes Inspiration

This is my project for this week's challenge, Anything Goes.  I used two of the antique cars from Fitztown's antique car collection for my project, you can find these cars here. 

I made my tag out of upholstery fabric  that I cut out with Tim Holtz's large tag die cut and glued on to some heavy craft paper to give the project some strength. I then added some stitching.  My next step was to layer my gears, cars and sentiments. The cars and trim of the sentiments were coloured with Copic Markers.  My last step was to add some dark pearls, a jute cord and Diamond Glaze for the headlights.

Good morning

Tracey here, I have made a card from the new challenge which is a easy one, ANYTHING GOES!!!

So on to my card:

So I have used bird 2 which is here at Fitztown. I have coloured the bird with cool grey copics.

Cut him out & matted on to a fish background & a grey. Added black soot distress ink around all the edges. The extras are the feathers,fishes & sentiment.

I have made an Easter bag. Must do another one for my other daughter too. What kind of surprises the Easter rabbit will get to the bag? That is so exciting!! I have colored the image with my Copics as I always do.  All the supplies are from my stash.

DT Tuesday with Ema-TOP 3 Favs

Wow! Can you believe it's already the 15th?!? Where has the month gone? April Fool's Day was just last week! Time flies when you are having fun! Geez, I hope I'm having a blast! lol

Look at this image. He sure does look like he's having a blast! If you love fishing, you know he IS having a blast. Makes me jealous just to think of it! Hot summer days sitting in a chair by a lake somewhere with a couple of cold ones and good conversation with great companionship... my idea of a fantastic time... so long as the fish don't bite. ;) lol 

Oh, I'm getting ahead of myself. Welcome to our newest challenge. We kicked off Challenge #31 - TOP 3 Favorites yesterday. Sounds complicated but it's really rather simple! :) You chose a favorite item from each row to make your project. Simple as that! It's almost like Tic-Tac-Toe without the grid and it doesn't have to be a straight line! Yay! So these are the choices:

So here's my card:

Doesn't he just look so happy to have caught that fish?!? I would be! :) Here's a close look at some of the detail on the jacket. I used a silver gel pen where the zipper should go... and also on some of the detail of the fish.

I thought this image was listed in the store but when I was looking for the link, I come to find out it is not. So if you are interested in it, send this link in an email to sales@Fitztown.com and demand it be listed! In the meantime, if you express an interest in it, you can be assured someone will find a way for you to purchase it. :) You can find similar images in the Sports Collection. UPDATE: You can find Sports 27 in the store now! Yay! There are fantastic images in there for making masculine cards.
