Ema here with my project for the current Challenge #29 - Fancy Folds. These types of cards always look so complicated to me until I actually get around to making one! This is a fold from a tutorial I found on Pinterest. I love it! I use it very often. It gives a card such an elegant look but it's super easy.

Kinda plain on that last one huh? I take a picture while it's open before I tie the bow and close it to embellish. I have a hard time making bows. Sad story but it's true! I've used Valentine 2 to make an anniversary card. There are details about how I put it together on my personal blog. I'd love for you to come on over and have a look there.

Wednesday with Sande - #29 Fancy Folds

Sande here, with my Wednesday DT posting for our current challenge

"Fancy Folds".

I have made an Easel card. I wanted to try another folding but have to admit I was too buzy to do so. Maybe next time I'll try :) This fabulous image is one of the Fae images called Fae 31 by Morgan Fitzsimons. I have colored the image with my Copics as I always do. Look at those colours!! I can so feel the summer already!! All the supplies are from my stash. Please, visit at Fitztown store to check the gorgeous images and other stuff. ANYTHING GOES "STEAMY"

Hello everyone, Ivette back with a Steampunk Tag using the Cameo5 image.  I used my Distress Inks: Barn Door, Aged Mahogany and Black Soot.  A little shimmer with the Perfect Pearls Metallics 2 Studio.

Copic Pens used: E00, 04, R00, 20, 59, 39, 89, V00, 91, 93, RV34, 95, YR00

A quick run through the Vagabond using Tim Holtz's embossing folder, Gears. Added some TH Sprocket Gears that were colored using my Copic Pen R39.

 

Make sure you come back to Fitztown's Challenge to get inspired and view the new Easter images that are ready to be purchased.  They will make great Easter cards and projects. See the great works our Designers and Guest Designers are whipping up.

GD Lynn: Dies and/or Punches

I created this card for the latest challenge here at Fitztown #28 - Dies and Punches 

This image can be found here - It's called FISH 5.

My friend just loves stingrays so I knew I just had to make her a birthday card with this. It looks a little masculine with the black and white and grey, but I KNOW she's going to love this card. I used one of my newest dies to make the diecut frame for the image. I also punched a bunch of circles out of the black cardstock and placed them around the image and card. They look random, but believe me, I struggle with random, so I'd have to say it was only "sort of random"...he he he. I'm really pleased with how this turned out and I even decorated the inside of the card: 

Once I completed this card, I decided I'd try to make a few more to have on hand as we can never have enough masculine cards, can we?! I hope you'll play along with the challenge this week.

Kate here, I have made ​​this card with 3 cameo from the lovely  Cameo Collection

and color with her Tombows. 

And I used the same water I had to the shimmering watercolors, 

for an extra shimmery effect on the image. 

The theme this time is Use a die and / or Punch, so Therefore did I place her 

in a frame made with a die cut from Spellbinders. 

I spray it with a Copper Mist, just so lovely!

My few embellishments are flowers, ribbons, heart and a metal star!

Judy DT - Dies and Punches

It is Judy here today with my card for the current challenge, using dies and / or punches in your project.  

To create my card I used Morgan Fitzsimons' image called Cameo 13 . I love this image, it is quite beautiful as are all of her images. I colored her with my Copic Markers and cut the image out with a Spellbinder Nestibilities die and layered it over another die cut.   To complete the card I added some feathers, beaded piece of lace and some bling.

GD Tracey - Dies & Punches

Good Morning

This is my project for the challenge dies & punches.

I hope you like it. 

So this is the lovely FL 1 which you can get from the shop here.

So has the challenge is Dies & Punches this is what I have used. First I have coloured the image with pinks. Cut out using a fancy circle die from spellbinders, around the edges have used a distress ink to give the images a soft feel. Then layered on to a rose paper & kraft card all using the different sizes of the fancy circle dies. This all on to more of the rose paper & kraft card. The white base is a 8 by 8. The rose is also made form a die & the leaves from a punch. The little extras are the pale pink bow & pearls.

It is Kaija's  here today, Friday, for Themselves -

We have the current challenge of Anything Goes . Is not that easy.

You can do what you want and you can make a stamp.

See how the rules have been relaxed.

My card is a beautiful Cameo 1 digital stamp Morgan Fitzsimons .

I colored with Copic Ciao as I usually do.

I used Marianne Design spaces in the background.

The bottom of the clips are really old hand-crocheted lace two layers of a semi-circle.

Mounted on the edge of a silk ribbon, and I did the same with stunning bow tie

In this way I got the old touch.

For the same background paper, cut a cute bird.

A few half-pearl and metal corner.

Here I am again this week featuring a card for the current Challenge #27 - Anything Goes. Everyone loves an anything goes! I know I do! Rules and prizes have been changed up a bit to make it more player friendly so be sure to check them out. In the mean time, I'd like to show you my card:

All black and white card stock is from my stash. Ha! ;) The sentiment is from Create with TLC. The image is from Fitztown. I've colored the image with Copic markers.

Ema here with my contribution to the current Challenge #27 - Anything Goes. Don't you just LOVE these types of challenges? You never know what's gonna pop up in your thoughts! :) 

Here is my project:

You can find similar images such as this one in the Image Gallery. Did you know these images are also available? It takes a little work getting to them, but as with all the other images Fitztown offers, well worth the extra effort. :) You can send an email to sales@fitztown with a link to the image and someone will help you.

I've used Farm Fresh paper pad from Michael's Recollection line for the background. Everything else is from my long-hoarded stash I've been trying to get rid of now for three and a half years! I'm close to throwing it all out! I'd like some new stash! :) Wouldn't we all? The sentiment is one I saw somewhere and I thought it was too funny to not use. :) I added googlie eyes to the image to make the card funnier than it is without the eyes. :) lol
