I have made an Easter bag. Must do another one for my other daughter too. What kind of surprises the Easter rabbit will get to the bag? That is so exciting!! I have colored the image with my Copics as I always do.  All the supplies are from my stash.

DT Tuesday with Ema-TOP 3 Favs

Wow! Can you believe it's already the 15th?!? Where has the month gone? April Fool's Day was just last week! Time flies when you are having fun! Geez, I hope I'm having a blast! lol

Look at this image. He sure does look like he's having a blast! If you love fishing, you know he IS having a blast. Makes me jealous just to think of it! Hot summer days sitting in a chair by a lake somewhere with a couple of cold ones and good conversation with great companionship... my idea of a fantastic time... so long as the fish don't bite. ;) lol 

Oh, I'm getting ahead of myself. Welcome to our newest challenge. We kicked off Challenge #31 - TOP 3 Favorites yesterday. Sounds complicated but it's really rather simple! :) You chose a favorite item from each row to make your project. Simple as that! It's almost like Tic-Tac-Toe without the grid and it doesn't have to be a straight line! Yay! So these are the choices:

Ribbon, Fiber / Twine, Lace 
Flowers, Bow, Charm

So here's my card:

Doesn't he just look so happy to have caught that fish?!? I would be! :) Here's a close look at some of the detail on the jacket. I used a silver gel pen where the zipper should go... and also on some of the detail of the fish.

I thought this image was listed in the store but when I was looking for the link, I come to find out it is not. So if you are interested in it, send this link in an email to sales@Fitztown.com and demand it be listed! In the meantime, if you express an interest in it, you can be assured someone will find a way for you to purchase it. :) You can find similar images in the Sports Collection. UPDATE: You can find Sports 27 in the store now! Yay! There are fantastic images in there for making masculine cards.  Hello everyone, hope you are doing well today.  I'm back with a 5X5 card using Fitztown's  Easter images.

GDT Day with Lynn

Hi everyone,

It's my day as Guest Designer to show you've what I've created this week for Fitztown

  

This week the challenge is Spots and Stripes and I had a lot of fun with it, finding some great matching striped and spotted designer papers to work with !!  

This image is called Winter 6 and can be found here at the Fitztown shop.

I coloured this with Copic Markers and added some ribbon and bling from my stash.  I have a huge roll of this lovely white satin ribbon and find I use it a lot, and can even colour it with my Copics to match my project(s).  Here of course I just left it plain white !!

Now I have a head start on my Christmas card making this year !!

I really wanted to colour the cute cat black, like my own cat Mystic, (shown here)

It's very hard to colour the image in blacks or dark grey's in my humble opinion, so let's just pretend this is my Mystic in the Christmas card above!

My turn in this challenge here at Fitztown and the theme is Spots and Stripes

Cant belive that it's already April, time is running 

and you barely have time to realize that it will soon be summer again!!!

I have use the image Cameo 10 and color it with Faber Castell!

For the spots did I use an background embossed with a Sizzix folder 

and some dots on the bow and feather.

My embellis are: die cut heart, key, ribbon, flowers and Glossy Accent (rose on her head)

DT Judy - Spots and Stripes Challenge Inspiration

This is my card I made for the current challenge, spots and stripes.  I used some paper I was saving from a paper pack called All Dressed Up.  I thought it had some great glitter paper that suited the theme of this challenge and the image I used called Cameo 1. I love her soft looking face and the color combo of pinks, silver and black. I think the glitter paper, flower and bling gives the card a very grown up dress look.

Good morning it my day today

& I have made a gorgeous card for the new challenge 30 which is SPOTS & STRIPES.

This is my card hope you like it.

So here she is, I have used the lovely TEDDY 9 image you can get her from the shop here.

So I have used bright spring coloured for her. I do love these teddies just so much to colour in.

So have used my copics on the image & matted this on to a black card so she pops! Has the theme is spots & stripes I have printed off some baby pink & blue striped card & made in to flowers & butterflies. The backing is a dark pink dotted paper on to a 8 by 8 white base. The extras are the 2 bows in pale & dark pink, the sentiment & the pearl dots in the centre of the flowers.

Ema here with my project for the current Challenge #29 - Fancy Folds. These types of cards always look so complicated to me until I actually get around to making one! This is a fold from a tutorial I found on Pinterest. I love it! I use it very often. It gives a card such an elegant look but it's super easy.

Kinda plain on that last one huh? I take a picture while it's open before I tie the bow and close it to embellish. I have a hard time making bows. Sad story but it's true! I've used Valentine 2 to make an anniversary card. There are details about how I put it together on my personal blog. I'd love for you to come on over and have a look there.
